Ever feel that "sense of intellectual anxiety" when you hear someone talk about a theological text or a podcast you haven't heard? That feeling where you think, "I don't have that information, I need that information." This pull towards intellectualism, towards simply having more.
But what if the answer isn't more information, but something simpler?
The theological implications of encountering a Christian who is filled with the joy of knowing Jesus are profound. It may be argued that the opposite is true, with the implications of how they have formed their theology being profound in a negative way or influence.
C.S. Lewis pointed to in The Weight of Glory:
"The books or the music in which we thought the beauty was located will betray us if we trust to them. It was not in them, it only came through them. And what came through them was longing."
